Artichoke soup
Cream of Jerusalem artichoke and toasted almond soup with crisp toast croutons
Partridge terrine
A terrine of local partridge with Masala, orange and tarragon. Wrapped in prosciutto and served with a Cumberland sauce
Crab salad
A salad of Cornish crab with granny smith apple, crisp lettuce and anchovy, bound in mayonnaise and served with a lemon vinaigrette and pea shoots
Pumpkin gnocchi
Pumpkin gnocchi with ameretti and parmesan, and a beurre noisette and sage sauce.

Roast goose
Stuffed roast goose with a Cotswold honey glaze. Served with goose fat roast potatoes, chipolata and bacon, roast parsnip and an onion sauce.
Venison
Slow braised shank of venison, carrot and thyme puree, wilted spinach and a sauce of red wine and the braising juices.
Brill
Grilled brill with a lemon rouille topping and wilted watercress. Tarragon beurre blanc sauce.
Choux farcie
Baked stuffed cabbage with wild and chestnut mushroom and parmesan. A veloute of cep mushrooms.

An iced nougatine parfait with winter berry compote.
Christmas pudding
A homemade steamed Christmas pudding with brandy butter
Pear tart
A pear frangipane tart with honey and almond ice cream
Winter fruit salad

ROMANTIC VALENTINE MEAL WITH A CHAMPAGNE COCKTAIL AND A RED ROSE

St. Michaels Restaurant will be reopening in February for Valentines weekend with a special three-course meal that will include red rose and champagne cocktails.
Please come and indulge yourself and your loved one in the romantic candlelit atmosphere of our restaurant. You can relax, unwind and spoil yourself with the lovely ambiance, a glass of great wine, delicious food and professional service.
